Best all around emulsifier
I use conditioning emulsifier for hand & body cream and hair conditioner and shampoo bars. It’s the best. Sell tons of the creams.
INCI: Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol
Small pastilles of conditioning emulsifier are used to make velvety lotions and creams. This emulsifier is sometimes referred to as BTMS or BTMS 25. This emulsifier is excellent for hair and skin, emulsifies silicones, leaves a soft powdery feel, exceptionally mild, and is non-irritating.
For lotions and similar products, use 1 to 5%. For hair conditioners, use 1 to 10%. We generally use about 3% in lotions and find the results fabulous. This is a replacement for emulsifying wax in our recipes. If you want a more viscous cream when making a 1:1 replacement of our regular emulsifying wax, consider increasing the amount of this emulsifier by 1 or 2% and making a new test batch.
