Glitter - Is it Too Much or Not Enough?

Photo of Glitter

I wanted to pop in today and write a quick blog discussing glitter. Many people have a love/hate relationship with glitter. Some people like to say that glitter is the STD of the cosmetic world. Others say the more glitter the merrier! So when do we draw the line and decided when enough is enough? I am one of those glitter loving girls. I am fascinated by anything that sparkles but not everyone is like me, so that is why I wanted to discuss this.

I wanted to share a story from one of our ladies in the warehouse. One time she was given a bath bomb with glitter inside. She said that at first she thought it was a great idea was really excited to try it out! Once she had finished her bath she suddenly realized the horrible mistake that she had made. She said she had glitter on every possible spot of her body. After drying off, her towel was covered in glitter and after multiple laundry sessions it was still there. Glitter is sometimes called the gift that keeps on giving. Boy oh boy, does it give and give!

I think there a couple important things to keep in mind when it comes to glitter. Who is your target customer? Older women, children or men? Consider if might want to stay away from the glitter. Also, keep in mind what kind of product it is and how is it used. Do you really want to apply glitter to that part of the body? One last thing to think about is that not all glitters are safe to use on the skin. Please be sure to do some research before purchasing glitter to add to your bath products. All of the glitters in our catalog are skin safe. Make sure to keep the glitter out of your eyes and please, as tempting as it may seem, do not eat the glitter!

We would love to know what out readers think about glitter! Is it amazing or annoying? Feel free to share your glitter horror stories. We love hearing from you.
