Orange Butter Lip Balm

Valentine’s Day is next month and I am so not ready. Valentine’s is when my friends, gals and guys alike, ask for help making personalized products for their special someone. The problem is my thoughts are scattered! Come join me as I settle my thoughts so we can create the perfect gift baskets together!
I wanted to start with things for the gals and the first product I wanted to make is lip balm. Why lip balm you ask? Lip balms are great because they help create soft, kissable lips and give a soft, gorgeous shine. Heads up guys! By the end of this week, you can give a gift that will make her swoon.
The lip balm is perfect. It has a fun, flirty flavor, superb texture and amazing shine. You must try it. If you hurry, you might get one in your next order. I am sending over 200 samples to the shipping department!
I also wanted a hint of color in this lip balm and none on the lips. No color on their collars!

Weigh everything except the Vitamin E Acetate, Blackberry Pomegranate Flavor Oil and Ruby Lip Balm Color into a microwave safe container. Heat in short spurts until everything is almost melted. Stir the lip balm until the waxes have fully melted. This method helps prevent super heating your lip balm.
Once everything has melted, add the Vitamin E Acetate and Blackberry Pomegranate Flavor Oil. If you want the finished lip balm to have a pink color, add a little of the Ruby Lip Balm Color. (I ran out of toothpicks so I used the tip of a clean thermometer. I guess I need to create a shopping list!) If you want to see what it looks like, try the plate test!
