Keeping Organized Without Pain

Keeping Organized Without Pain

Do you get to the end of the month/quarter/year and just want to cry? Is paperwork bogging down your creative mind? You are not alone! Let us help you get organized in 2019 so you spend more time making personal care products and less time shuffling papers.

JAN – DEC

Start with 12 file folders; I suggest the hanging style and a basket or box. Label the twelve folders with each month of the year. During January, place all receipts and such that are tied to January in the January file. When February comes, move January to the back and put all February papers in the February file. Continue in this rotating fashion until 2020. When January comes around again, quickly go through the January file and discard anything that you don’t need anymore. File the important documents in permanent places and get rid of the rest.

In the same box or basket that has your monthly files, add a few files for really important items like your business name registration, tax submissions, or loan documents. Keep your fuel receipts and small expenditures in your monthly files then group them together for permanent filing later.

Are you missing recipe ideas or formulating notes? It is time to start a TOP SECRET BULLET JOURNAL!

You may remember the Post-it notes that Taylor was always losing. We have a solution to that called the Bullet Journal. If you read one book this year, make it The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll. I promise that if you will read that book, you will be able to find ALL of your important notes. Reading this book is a life changer!!!
