Light Spring Lotion

You know how the saying goes that March comes in like a lion? I have to agree with that. During this time, I get the worst spring fever and I have to be outside every chance I get. It also means that I forget to apply a lotion and my skin gets dry and haggard due to the stormy lion-like weather we get. Yikes! Considering where I work and what I do, my skin shouldn’t look like this! Do you run into the same trouble that I do? Let’s head to the kitchen and whip up a solution for this dry skin problem we are having!

I choose the oils I did because they are light and not heavy. I wanted a lotion that wasn’t heavy or excessive but would allow me to return to my paper work without leaving greasy smudges over everything.

I also used a high percentage of Hydrovance for this lotion. I wanted to combat the extremely dry skin I am having. My hands were feeling like sand paper! You know, the 40 grit sand paper. Ugh! It was so bad touching things made me shudder. I really like the way my hands feel now, not dry and actually feeling soft and smooth again. After a week of using this lotion, I expect that my hands will be back to normal! Yay!
