Magical Bath Fizzies for St. Patty's Day

Magical Bath Fizzies for St. Patty's Day

Finished Magical Bath Fizzies

For today’s blog I thought we would do a fun project for St. Patrick’s Day, so I made a batch of Magical Bath Fizzies. You are probably wondering what makes these so magical. At first glance, these may look boring but once you start sprinkling it in the tub, the fizzing begins and the water “magically” changes color. Kids absolutely love these, the water changing color right before their eyes just blows their little minds! Plus, these are so dang easy to make.

I made one batch scented with Squeaky Clean and colored with Ocean Blue Color and Lemon Yellow Color. The other batch I made is scented with Red Clover Tea and colored with Lemon Yellow. I thought doing Green and Yellow would be perfect for St. Patty’s Day. Keep reading for the recipe.

This is so easy to make, measure Cornstarch, Baking Soda, and Citric Acid into the bag. Then, close up the top of the bag and shake it until its mixed together. Now it’s time to add the fragrance oil and colors. (When I made this recipe, I doubled it so that I would have enough to share with our readers!) On my green batch, I used one scoop of the Ocean Blue and one scoop of the Lemon Yellow. For the yellow batch, I did just two scoops of the Lemon Yellow. Close up the bag again and knead to disperse any clumps of fragrance oil. Now you are ready to package it up. I used a small Ziploc bag but you could use our Clear Gusseted Bags and tie a cute ribbon around it to seal it up. Make sure to request a sample with your order!
