Making Lotion from Scratch Class

What an enjoyable and information packed class! We had several students that were new to making lotion from scratch and I even heard that this was more fun than cooking!

The following areas were discussed in details; equipment, ingredients, terminology and the math. Then after doing the math we made several items including – Lotion Bar, Light Gift Lotion, Granny’s Favorite with three different humectants, Bottoms Up Cream and a Cuticle Oil. You may have seen several of these recipes in recent blog posts so pull them up and make a batch for yourself.

We had so much fun during this class and everyone appreciated all the wonderful information and great products that we made.

So, if you missed this class or want to take it again, we will be offering it again in March! Check the class schedule and register soon! We will be using different recipes of course!

Check future blogs for more details regarding equipment, ingredients, terminology and (don’t be scared) the math.
