Orange Butter Lip Balm
This...
Previously, we used Hemp Oil in a foot scrub. Today we’ll switch body parts and target the lips.
Hemp Oil naturally contains a high level of vitamin E, which is wonderful on the skin. It also contains gamma linolenic acid, which has been shown in studies to increase barrier repair in the skin faster than linolenic acid. Hemp is a dry oil that absorbs well into the skin.
We’re going to add some shea butter and superfine sugar to this wonderful oil along with a shot of Mango Flavor Oil to make it taste wonderful.
To get superfine sugar, run regular white sugar in a food processor until it is the texture of fine sand. Sugar will be our workhorse in this recipe, as it is both humectant and exfoliant, plus it adds sweetness to boost the flavor.

Weigh Shea Butter and Hemp Oil into a microwave-safe container. Heat gently just until the Shea Butter is melted.
Add the sugar to the oils, and stir well.
Finally, add the Vitamin E Natural and Mango Flavor Oil, stirring well to combine.
Scoop the finished scrub into jars, label, and enjoy!
To use, scoop out about a pea-sized amount of scrub and gently apply it to your lips. You can rinse off the scrub or just lick it off if you love the flavor!
I am always surprised at how wonderful my lips feel after using a sugar scrub on them.
