Oh My Butter! An Exciting Challenge for Soft Skin

Oh My Butter! An Exciting Challenge for Soft Skin

Last October, I ran a 10-day Soft Skin Challenge, and I was asked for a different recipe without Lanolin. After making my test batches, losing and finding the recipe not twice, but three times, I finally got a chance to get into the blog kitchen to make this exciting recipe with you.

Finished tins of Oh My Butter!

Finished tins of Oh My Butter!

I picked a few ingredients that are noted for aiding skin rejuvenation and repair. This luxurious butter will feel great on your dry, scaly skin without feeling extremely greasy. I quickly used my tester tin, and I was very pleased with my smooth skin.

Application Notes: This is not going to be a creamy and easy-to-apply lotion or cream. This is a solid, stick-like butter that will need a combination of body heat and friction to be applied.

Ready for the recipe? I’m excited to share it with you!

It took my batch about 3 minutes in the microwave with stirring every 45 seconds or so. Add the High Lycopene Oil and Green Tea Extract and stir until completely mixed. Pour your mixture into tins or jars and allow to cool. Cap, label and enjoy!
