A toner is a wonderful addition to a face care routine. Spritzing the skin with liquid before applying lotion helps greatly with hydration. Let’s make a toner and you’ll see what I mean.
We’ll use a base of Rose Hydrosol for its excellent hydration properties. Witch Hazel is an astringent which helps tighten pores and refreshes the skin. It can be found at any drug store. Rounding out the formula are Glycerin as a humectant to draw water to the skin, Ivy Extract to combat blotchiness, and Polysorbate 80 as a light emulsifier to keep the ingredients cohesive.

8 ounce Batch4 oz Rose Hydrosol |
Mix ingredients thoroughly with a mixer or by shaking, then pour into a bottle with a spray pump lid.
To use, spray 3-4 times onto the face before applying lotion.
This is the easiest product to make – it literally came together in a few minutes!
For a cooling self-care moment, keep the toner in the refrigerator, and mist your face when you feel overheated. Ahhhhh … bliss!
