Tub Tea

Introduction

In the heat of summer we all need a cool retreat. This tub tea is perfect for a cool dip in the bath tub. Ohh. Spa Time!

This was made on the blog on August 11th 2010.

Ingredients

    300 grams Dead Sea Salt
    7 grams Lavender Buds, Ground
    7 grams Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate
    7 grams Natrasorb
2 grams Lemon Essential Oil, USA
1.3 grams Lavender, Bulgarian, Essential Oil
    .7 grams Natural Vanilla Oil

Equipment

    Mixing Bowl
    Scale
    Spoon
    Iron
    Heat and Seal Tea Bags

Instructions

Weigh the Natrasorb and essential oils into the mixing container. Mix well. Add the ground lavender buds, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate and dead sea salt. Mix well. Measure into the heat and seal tea bags. Seal the heat and seal tea bags. Now, it is bath time!

Comments

Are you anti-lavender? What herbs would you use instead of lavender in this type of product? I had thought about peppermint. Would you do a peppermint bath? What herbs would you avoid?

Enjoy!

Yield

I filled 7 jumbo tea bags with approximately 46 grams of material each.
