Old West Fragrance Oil

This smells lovely out of the bottle, Haven't used it yet, and it won't let me skip the items not used yet. I expect I will like it.

I had to order a second bottle of this because my husband took the first one to use in beard oil. It smells incredible, with the leather and wood scents blending well without anything sitting too heavily forward. It accelerated a slight bit in my CP soap batch, but was easily managed. I noticed some mild tan discoloration, which was no issue for me.

The description on this Old West is good. To my nose it's a complex fragrance which I like to use with other fragrances. I do get a light tan discoloration and mild acceleration.

I used this fragrance for a baseball themed soap, and the leathery/tobacco/dirt notes were a perfect match. Any discoloration in the CP soap was easily covered by my bright green mica- I expected it to darken more, but it remained a bright and springy green. The fragrance did accelerate my batter a bit, but I had plenty of time to work, and even do some piping before it really seized up. Just plan to move fairly quickly, but no need to panic. I'm really a fan of this earthy/leather fragrance!
