INCI: CI 19140 (Yellow 5) & Castor (Ricinus communis) Oil
I used the yellow to make a Vanilla flavored lip balm brighter in color. I know beeswax, candelilla, and carnauba waxes all add a yellow color, but it is pale when the lip balm is smooth and not too waxy. So, yellow color to the rescue! We made Mint Julep with a little yellow and a little blue. We mixed cool red and yellow to make a pale peach. What a good blender!

Lip Balm: Perfect! It warms other colors and is needed for a green (mint) tint.
