Happy Boss's Day!

Today is Boss’s Day! I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Boss’s Day! Whether you work for someone else or you work for yourself, today is a day worth celebrating! What makes me say that? Well, we all have a tendency to look at our our to-do list and feel down because that list is so long and overwhelming. I am ABSOLUTELY guilty of this.

However, today I wanted to suggest that we make a different list. Let’s make a list of our accomplishments. Let’s celebrate how far we have come and how much progress we have made. What items are on your list? Make a list for the last week, the last month and last year.

I like doing this because, as individuals, I don’t think we ever give ourselves enough credit. We are quick to praise others and slow to praise ourselves for jobs well done. If we continue to look at the list of things waiting to be done, we rob ourselves of the pride and satisfaction of a job well done. We also rob ourselves of drive to continue to work hard and make progress. So today wish yourself a very happy Boss’s Day!
