Orange Butter Lip Balm

Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is here! Hallelujah! Does anyone have exciting plans? I just got done making a huge batch of this Pineapple Lip Balm, and I am so happy with how it turned out.
I have never really used our Pineapple Flavor before because it never sounded enticing to me. Boy, was I in for a surprise! Once I finished making this batch and tried it for myself, I was really quite surprised how much I liked it. Everyone in the warehouse agreed, saying, “Wow I’m surprised, this is actually really good!” and “This is really amazing!”
The combination of the Pineapple and the Sugar Baby makes for the perfect sweet and tangy mixture. We mixed these flavors with our Veggie Lip Solutions. This Lip Solution was specially formulated with only vegetable waxes and oils, it is firm but not too firm. I think it’s just about perfect! While this Lip Solution already has a slightly yellow tint, I added some of the Yellow Lip Balm Color to really make that color pop. Read below for this awesome recipe!

The filling trays make it incredibly easier when you are making a large batch of lip balm. If you do not have one, you better go get yourself one! For this lip balm we put a five pound bucket of the Veggie Lip Solutions in the microwave, heat it for short periods at a time and don’t forget to stir it often. This Lip Solution needs to get pretty hot in order to melt all the waxes, but you don’t want to get it too hot! Once everything is melted, you can add the flavor oils. For the Yellow Lip Balm Color I just dipped the end of a crystal spatula in the jar and then mixed it into the lip balm. You really only need a tiny amount, a little goes a long way. Once everything is mixed you are ready to pour! What I do is pour it into the lip balm filling tray, let it cool, then scrap the excess off the top. After that I take the heat gun and go over the top just to make them look ultra smooth on top. Now you are ready to pull the tubes out, cap, label, and enjoy! 🙂
