Ink Polish Tattoo Stick - Brighten your Old Tattoos!

Ink Polish Tattoo Stick - Brighten your Old Tattoos!

I love how these labels turned out!

I love how these labels turned out!

Good morning folks! Today’s recipe is for a tattoo stick. I’ve been using a tattoo salve on all of my tattoos for some time. I thought, “Hey, why don’t I make my own tattoo salve?” This is what I came up with! This is for use on tattoos that have already healed. You wouldn’t want to use this stick on a brand new tattoo due to the fact that this recipe has a fragrance oil in it. Fragrance oils can irritate an open wound and that is exactly what a new tattoo is. I am pleased with how this stick turned out. It glides on the skin leaving old tattoos looking moisturized and brighter but doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy. You can apply some on a tattoo and pull your sleeve back down and not worry about it greasing up your shirt.

I chose Raspberry Seed Oil for this recipe because it is known for being helpful in SPF applications due to absorbance of both UV-A and UV-B. One of the number one steps in caring for a tattoo is to avoid letting it get sunburned, it will make the tattoo fade. Don’t forget, products claiming an SPF are an over the counter drug and not cosmetics. Raspberry Oil is also high in natural tocopherols and essential fatty acids. Same with the Organic Rose Hip Oil, it’s packed full of essential fatty acids which makes it great for all skin types especially mature skin. This stick is ultra moisturizing and moisturized skin is happy skin. Keeping a tattoo moisturized prolongs the life of the tattoo and keeps it looking beautiful!
