This is a UPS Service Disruption Alert. Severe weather in Kentucky and West Virginia has caused delays in packages being delivered and/or moving though the distribution hubs. UPS is working hard to continue service but they are also prioritizing the safety of their employees and the packages that are currently in their care. As a result, there may be some delays in packages being delivered.
UPS is working to move shipments to their final destinations as quickly as possible. You can track shipment progress on ups.com or you can use UPS MyChoice to check on the status of all incoming packages. We are very happy with the UPS MyChoice service and love that it is free! Tina wrote an excellent article of her experience with UPS MyChoice and with the unpredictable weather, we highly recommend it.
Please also keep in mind that the UPS Service Guarantee does not apply when transportation networks are disrupted due to conditions beyond UPS’s control. If you are in one of the affected areas or your package is traveling through one of those hubs, please keep in mind that UPS is working hard to get your order to you.
