Spring is achingly close but winter doesn’t seem to want to let go. I am ready for blue skies and greenery! I am ready for the sun to warm my car and skin and for the robins to come stay. I am ready for some warm weather. Mary is too! Come see the soap she made.
Nothing says warm weather to me like watermelon. I first made a watermelon scented soap (last year) to try swirling colors using a column to pour the soap over in a slab mold (I used a cardboard box lined with a plastic bag). It was such a hit with my family and friends, that I made another batch last week. This time I poured more over the column, and the colors really go all through. Happy Spring everyone!
